NPP National Delegates’ Conference Begins Today
Reports say more than 90 percent of hotels and guest houses in Koforidua and its environs, including Suhum, Nsawam, Aburi, Adukrom, Somanya and Tafo, have been booked ahead of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) national delegates Congress in Koforidua which begins today (July 6).
About 100 hotels and guest houses extending to Tafo, Kukurantumi, Nkurankai, Asokore Osiem and Bunso have all been booked.
The situation is likely to compel aspirants, delegates, supporters and Journalists who have not already booked hotels, to seek accommodation far away from the regional capital, or spend the nights in their vehicles.
Delegates of the NPP will elect national executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.
More than 40 aspirants are vying for various national leadership positions in the party. Banners of aspirants have been displayed at the entrance of the Koforidua Technical University which is the venue for the Congress.
