MP Passionately Appeals to Youth to Abstain from Drug
The Member of Parliament for Berekum East Constituency in the Brong Ahafo region Dr. Kwabena Twum- Nuamah has passionately appealed to the teeming youth to abstain from drug abuse.
In an interview on OYEREPA FM Breakfast Show with Nana Kwadwo Jantuah, the MP stressed on how some young persons in the country have endangered their lives following the abuse of drugs and Aphrodisiac.
“Am pleading to all youth in this country to please stay away from drugs especially this Tramadol drug. It’s wasting and killing the future of this country” Hon. Nuamah said
“I was very happy when FDA introduced the advertisement only after 8pm, at least it’s a step ahead.”
Due to this worrying trend, he is urging all media houses to cease playing alcoholic jingles and adverts on air of which he recommended Oyerepa FM for not allowing such adverts on their platform.
