Jordan Opoku Bemoans Asante Kotoko Poor League Form

Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku has spoken to OYEREPA FM lamenting on their form in the ongoing Ghana Premier League following their loss against Karela FC on Wednesday.

The Porcupine Warriors suffered their fifth defeat of the campaign, when league newcomers Karela FC defeated them 3-1 in Week 11.
The defeat comes just three days after the Reds were beaten by bitter rivals Hearts of Oak and Jordan Opoku admits the club is going through a rough patch.
“It’s not about age just that things are not working well for us, It’s a matter of time. But I think officiating was poor but the Club’s team spirit is really down because in my previous stints the spirit at the club was high,” he told OYEREPA FM.
“We as players are not happy with the current situation but we will have to work together to get back on track.”
Kumasi Asante Kotoko is 10th on the standings with just 14 points but Jordan believes it’s just a matter of time the club will fix its problems.
“Like I said we all have to come together and work for the betterment of the team, both the players and the Coaches so we can get the team spirit back and start winning games. As time goes on I believe things will get better,” he said.
